All of the sudden, in the morning, WLP popped up saying:
QUOTE:
After you view the following Nasdaq Agreement, you will need to restart Wealth-Lab Pro.
I clicked [OK] button, then Internet Explorer opened saying:
QUOTE:
Nasdaq User Agreement for Real-Time Quotes
I closed it then finally [Nasdaq User Agreement] dialog popped up saying:
QUOTE:
Please restart Wealth-Lab Pro.
Then I had to restart WLP manually.
Isn't this supposed to be one time thing and only when WLP runs first time?
This WLP has been running on the machine for a while.
I'm wondering if WLP corrupted a file or something that triggered this to happen.

Just a thought: have you (or 3rd party utility) cleared IE cookies?

No, I haven't used IE at all on that trading machine.

A 3rd party utility might have cleared the WLP cookie, for example.
P.S. No need to use IE: even if it's not used in principle its engine remains an important system component that pops up here and there as a control.

Before IE popped up, WLP popped up first.
Why did WLP think if Nasdaq Agreement needs to be reviewed?

Sorry, can't help you with this one. It's a better question for the Fidelity support guys who can check the status of your WLP entitlements and trading agreements.

I was just speculating about the IE cookie. It would be unlikely if WLP relied on it. If I were the developer I'd store it inside WealthLabConfig.txt or some other file. Consequently, corruption of the file would trigger the need to accept the agreement again. Another possible reason might be if it were stored on Fidelity's servers and had to be periodically reviewed. Again, all this is just a speculation and you might want to follow Cone's advice.

The problem happens only in 6.9.19. .20 does not ask me.

So at least two customers are reporting that 6.9.19 asks them, another one indicates the problem exists for him in 6.9.20, and one more not saying which build he has. I don't have further suggestions to what appears to be a Fidelity issue, sorry.

I have 6.9.19, have not seen the question/problem, yet. Caveat, I'm usually only asked to sign in once a month or so. I may see the issue the next time sign on is requested.

It is happening to me on 6.9.17 as welll ( I couldnt'get a hold of 6.9.19 to rollback) And I can't start Wealth lab because of this stupid pop up. Besides this started happening today... the days before it was working ok.

Correction: 6.9.20 is not affected. On the opposite, it fixes the issue. You are expected to see the issue in 6.9.19. :(

So I actually now the answer to this as was severely affected by it this morning. After I spoke with quite a senior person in active trader Fidelity support they admitted the Nasdaq update agreement form was in fact broken. Even if you tried to do it from the Fidelity website. As already mentioned here, the updated 6.9.20 version does not ask for the update thank god. I'm sure this was a fortuitous error. The problem for me was that the automatic update install was also broken so had to manually uninstall WLP and reinstall from the FIdelity website. I did have to reboot after the uninstall, not sure if that was really necessary?

Glad you got it working.

I am still having trouble witht hhe Nasdaq agreement in 6.9.19 and 6.9.20 is no good for me due to the NeuroLab problem

6.9.20 fixes the issue. The agreement is not a MS123 prerogative. 6.9.19 is history.

Thanks for the fix info.

It's the least I can do.
