Is there somewhere to easily get a list of symbols for an index that is in the format suitable for making a new Dataset. I'm thinking of things like SP-100, SP-500, SP Smallcap 600, ETFs, etc. Or does one need to just methodically enter them in by hand?
Thanks,
Dave

Why not create that S&P-500 DataSet (for example) using classification groups in Yahoo! provider?

So far, I have just been using Fidelity data since I am a Fidelity customer. Would you recommend that I switch to Yahoo data or that I also use Yahoo data in addition to Fidelity data?
Thanks,
Dave

No, my suggestion was that you could use the Y! classification groups to quickly get the symbols and then copy/paste when creating a new Fidelity data set. I think you've answered your question - "methodically enter" them one way or another.

From where do I get daily and intraday data for tick and trin?

Are you a Fidelity customer? You could find the daily TRIN (no intraday) in Market Sentiment DataSet.

Yes I am fidelity customer.
Is there any other site paid/unpaid where I can download intra day trin and tick data?
Thanks,
