Greetings!

I know it's not officially support for writing 3rd party Broker Providers in WLD. But it supported to write, test and monitor strategies. Also it's a great idea to make it possible to send alerts via E-Mail.

I have a situation when I need to buy, set stop and set profit at once. Is it possible to add any custom text to alert and see it in E-Mail. I'd set stop and profit orders there.

Hi,

You can do it with AlertByEmail from Community Components. But what I'm talking about, you're a programmer.

Eugene, thank you!

I prefer to ask before do it by myself. Probably it has a solution. AlertByEmail is a good one. But it's not integrated with WLD 6 E-Mail Settings. Or integrated?

No, not integrated. The idea is to have complete control over outgoing email sent from your Strategy. You can loop by the individual alerts from the Alerts collection (QuickRef for more).

What settings should be used in case yahoo.com?

Naturally, the best place to find it out is Yahoo's website.

In Google, type in "site:help.yahoo.com smtp server port" or something like that.

Make sure to use port 587. A few weeks ago, I think we established that port 465 will not work.

True, port 465 does not work.
