Hello

USA futures contain * in their names (e.g. DJE50XX*) and WealthLab reports an error while trying to download data. Also cannot open these tickers in Chart Window.

Right. This is a known limitation of the Finam provider (not Wealth-Lab's) which you could find out...

1. by doing a forum search: Finam provider: incorrect character error with SandP500* symbol

2. in the online user guide of the Finam static/streaming data provider:

QUOTE:
Symbols having '*' in their names (and possibly other characters that would have resulted in creation of an invalid file name) are not handled by the provider. The data is being downloaded but then it aborts the creation of the file. Since the issue affects only a handful of symbols outside the primary focus of the provider, we do not plan to fix it.

We recommend the IQFeed data provider to get data for U.S. futures and many more instruments. Although it's a paid subscription, it's worth it. Being a free data feed, Finam is quite restrictive and IQFeed specializes in U.S. data.
