I'm trying to update my data base. According to NASDAQ, ASBC was changed to ASB on 12/23/14. I downloaded the ASB price and fundamental data from Yahoo!. When I compared it to the ASBC data, there is a huge price gap in the ASB data between 5/13/10 and 5/14/10.
No split is shown on the Yahoo! website, and the prices displayed on the website for the two symbols are identical from 4/30/10 to 5/28/10, so the problem appears to be on the Wealth-Lab side.
The fundamental provider information for both symbols was updated this afternoon at 2:26 PM.
I thought Wealth-Lab might have retrieved data showing a split, so I unchecked the box for Perform Split Adjustments, however, it didn't make any difference.
Is there a way to display any split adjustments Wealth-Lab might have for ASB? If not, do you have any suggestions for correcting this problem? Can I just delete the ASB.WL data file and rename the ASBC.WL file ASB.WL, or will things get screwed up when the fundamental data is updated?

I figured out the problem. I had price data for the previous ASB, which I forgot to rename before I did the update. The last data for that symbol was 5/24/10, so apparently Wealth-Lab went back 10 calendar days and "corrected" those prices and then loaded the rest of the data from 5/24/10 forward.
I restored the old ASB file and renamed it, reloaded the data for ASB and everything is fine.
I still would be curious if there is a way to display split information for Yahoo! data.

A split (or dividend) is nothing but a fundamental data item and can be accessed using the
FundamentalDataItems property (see QuickRef). The item name is called

Just FYI, the
Data Tool supports symbol renaming from within WLP. However, it won't handle associated fundamental data (.WLF file).

Is the split information part of the *.WL file in the YahooStaticProvider directory or part of the *.WLF file in the YahooFundamentalProvider directory? I want to make sure that when I rename symbols, I keep the split information associated with the symbol.

Splits are always part of the WLF file.
