Hi Guys,

1) During the day, I usually have 1 workspace that I have all my live strategies running and I have another open in which I am developing and backtesting strategies. I will commonly get a crash on my backtesting workspace which takes down my live strategy workspace. Is there any way to run 2 instances of WL so that doesn't happen?

2) Are there any plans at some point to change the the windows to a docked layout instead of the current MDI layout? I just find it difficult sometimes to get the things laid out properly.

3) Lastly, it would be nice you could show how to programically optimize a strategy. I've been able to hack the basic functionality but it would nice to get the proper approach by the experts. I've been using this functionality in another program and it is incredibly useful.

1 - Sounds like putting the cart before the horse. The real problem is to get rid of your "common" crash by following our General troubleshooting procedure to determine the culprit and ultimately fix it. We may continue in a support ticket if you like.

2 - No plans to make any major changes that affect existing workflow.

3 - Programmatic optimization is not supported and no examples are made available. This is not the Wealth-Lab way to do it as our approach is about simplification. If you need to implement some optimization logic not available among the existing optimizer modules, please consider developing an optimizer: Create Optimizers. Here's a good example of one such recent development by the Wealth-Lab community:

Is there a way to make strategy optimization multi-threaded?
