I know that the Preferred Values are saved in the strategy XML file in C:\Users\Windows User Name\AppData\Roaming\Fidelity Investments\WealthLabPro\1.0.0.0\Data, but are the results of an optimization saved anywhere? Cannot find it. It seems that when I save, close, and reopen a strategy the optimization results are gone, so I have to rerun the optimization to recreate the data (which in my case takes hours).

Optimizations results are not saved. As you could read in the User Guide, Strategy Window > Optimization > Results, choosing "Save to (Load from) File..." from the right-click context menu saves the results to an XML file.

... which can then be reloaded at a later time into the Optimization Results tab by choosing "Load from File... :.
