HLC overlay from ChartStyle setting in Strategy code?

Hello,

We can select HLC overlay on certain chart setting . Is it possible to have HLC coded within
the code to display uptrend and downtrends using " SetBackgroundColor" ?

Eugene that example has Daily Pivots for drawing backgrounds i.e support resistance for intraday charts.
However the setup for HLC overlay chart for intraday does not use Daily Pivots.

How do we create these support resistance backgrounds to match the WL setup ?

Carefully please: you're looking at the wrong example. "How to: Overlay Daily Candlesticks on an Intraday Chart" is the 2nd example.

Note that I don't know what uptrends and downtrends you have on your mind, and what SetBackgroundColor may have to do with HLC overlay, so the example focuses on what makes sense to me: plotting artificial OHLC candlesticks.
