I deleted the basic index data I created and tried to recreate them using the index builder. However some of the files I deleted are still there and therefore wouldn't allow me to recreate them. Is there an xml file somewhere where I can go there and manually remove them.

Thanks

Please try the following procedure:

1. Close WLP.

2. Enable hidden file/folder visibility

3. Open this folder: c:\Users\Windows username\AppData\Roaming\Fidelity Investments\WealthLabPro\1.0.0.0\Data\

4. There are three subfolders that belong to I-L: CustomIndices, DataSets and IndexStaticProvider. One that contains the data (IndexStaticProvider) is not necessary to clean up: it's rebuilt automatically. The I-L DataSet was probably deleted from the shared DataSets folder (but check it). And the last one, CustomIndices, probably contains a remnant XML file preventing from recreating I-L DataSet.
