Accessing 2 dividends on the same date

When a company does this, eg interest and capGains, how can I access them both?

Assuming that they are present in the data itself, there should be no difference: both are fundamental items accessible by their string key (e.g. "earnings") as exemplified in the Wealth-Lab QuickRef > Fundamental Data.

I don't know if they're present in Fidelity's fundamental data that you're probably using (and I'm not), but this fundamental provider for Morningstar's data has both the usual and special dividends:

The screenshot there illustrates exactly this scenario.
